DexaWare 2.1 is compatible with Windows XP and Vista and offers the user many advantages with improvements in functionality. Patient data and results may be readily exported to other databases such as Excel and Access. Falls and Fracture ClinicsFollowing the Royal College of Surgeons Press Release in November 2007, on the subject of Falls and Osteoporotic Fracture Risk, Churchill Medical has been successful in receiving a number of orders for pDXA scanners to be installed in Fracture Clinics. The DTX-200 gives an excellent estimation of overall fracture risk with 90% sensitivity and 90% specificity when compared with axial systems. This greatly reduces the number of patients who need to be referred for spine and hip investigations.
